Reliable series production, from the first lot to the last
Need machined parts delivered in quantity, at regular intervals, with the same quality every lot? That is what we do every day. G.M. Précision manufactures precision parts in medium to high-volume production for customers in aerospace, medical, transportation and industry.
Our shop is AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified, and our processes are built so that the second order, the tenth and the hundredth are identical to the first: same tolerances, same traceability, same lead times.

CNC machining for production runs

- Drawing review and industrialization - We review your drawing, validate tolerances and define the machining plan, tooling and fixtures that make the run repeatable.
- First article and validation - A first part is machined and inspected before the run starts, with an inspection report.
- Series production - CNC turning, Swiss turning, multi-axis milling and 5-axis operations, with pallet changing and collaborative robotics to maintain the pace.
- In-process quality control - Measurements during the run and CMM inspection according to the agreed control plan, to catch any drift before it reaches the parts.
- Full traceability - Material, lot and manufacturing records are kept in line with our AS9100D requirements, for every run delivered.
- Delivery and recurring orders - An agreed delivery schedule, planned recurring orders and clear follow-up until your parts are received.

Learn more about series production
What is series production in CNC machining?
It is the repeated manufacture of identical parts in medium to large quantities, using a process that is validated once and then reproduced every lot. The goal is consistency: same dimensions, same quality and same lead times from one run to the next.
At what quantity does it count as a series?
There is no fixed threshold. As soon as a part comes back regularly, it becomes worthwhile to industrialize its manufacture. Send us your drawing and annual volumes and we will recommend the best approach.
How do you guarantee the same quality from lot to lot?
Through a documented machining plan, a control plan, in-process measurements and CMM inspection when needed. We are AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified.
Can you ensure part traceability?
Yes. Material, lot and manufacturing records are kept for every run, in line with our AS9100D requirements.
Which processes do you use for series work?
CNC turning, Swiss turning, multi-axis milling and 5-axis machining, with pallet changing and collaborative robotics to support the pace.
What information do I need to provide for a quote?
Your drawing or 3D model, the material, critical tolerances, the quantity per order and the estimated annual volume. The more complete the information, the faster and more accurate the quote.
Can you plan recurring orders?
Yes. We can agree on a delivery schedule and plan your runs in advance to secure your supply.
Do you work on defense or controlled goods parts?
Yes. G.M. Précision is registered in the Government of Canada Controlled Goods Program.
